My Philosophy

My basic approach is an everything in moderation, non-diet, all foods fit approach because food is a basic physical need and is a source of pleasure (we are just wired that way), so why should it be so complicated?



To help people build a healthy relationship with food and achieve health and wellness without the complications of tracking calories eaten and kilometers run.


o   Self-compassion – With self-compassion, we give ourselves the same kindness and care we’d give to a good friend.

o   Compassion – Compassion is a process of connecting by identifying with another person.

o   Honesty – Honesty in practice involves fairness and straightforwardness in interactions.

o   Trust – Mutual trust is essential for a proper therapeutic relationship.

o   Collaboration – The therapeutic relationship works through collaboration, a give-and-take interaction between client and clinician.

o   Evidence-Based Practice – All information shared, skills taught, and therapy given is based on scientific evidence and research.
